Snow slope was icy and very steep with great exposure on north side. I used an ULA Helix ice axe that weighs only 5 ounces for safety, while carrying a full ULA P2 pack to the summit. I more than once realized that a fall off the vertical north face (right) would hurt really bad! Kelly dog ran circles around me..
