The colors of this bike are the same for my Legnano bought in 1972, but the lugs here are a world apart from those on my more humble machine. Mine has Campagnolo cranks, chainwheels, and derailleurs (sp?), but not brakes. However, the thing that endears me to that bike is the fact that when I bought it (in Manhattan) I rode it from the Thomas Avenia store to Penn Station, passing through Central Park along the way. It hangs in my garage; I should photograph it.
