Kelly K9 and I met BigTime on the Wikiup plain in the Three Sisters Wilderness. He started at Canada, and was moving fast, but was carrying a full food load from Cascade Locks to Crater Lake NP in his ultralight ZPack when I met him. He admitted, it was too much weight. His carbon fiber hiking stick also had a spear in it, which I thought was pretty cool. Kelly, a veteran section hiker with 1000 miles of her own, enjoys a personal moment with BigTime.
