The first 10 images show some of the artists at work on Miami Avenue.
The remaining images were taken at the Venice Airport, where some of the tarmac was taken over by the chalk festival. Many, but not all, of the artwork pieces are drawn in 3D, and look very real, but all are drawn in chalk on the flat surface.
Some of the drawings had places (e.g. a serving tray) for people to get into the scene, as you can see in a few presented here.
Finally, while most were a few feet by a few feet in size, one was so large I couldn't get it all in a photograph, taking up almost the entire length of a runway. The last image, of the reclining nude drinking from a 3 tiered fountain, was also such an image, but on a shorter runway.
