January 10 Snowfall in Seattle

Snow came down at 4pm on Jan 10 and didn't stop until 12pm...in that short time it accumulated 7" in West Seattle. These pictures were taking with no tripod at iso between 1000-1600 and VR lense.

Wonderful! I hadn't thought to "switch" to B&W to get rid of the dominant orange hue from the street lights. You got more than we did in Madrona. jcl

Super! Great pictures. My wife and I walked the dogs last night in six inches of snow. I used the flash and had poor results. The mood of your photos is perfect.

Somewhere around the six inch mark without wind and before a pain in the neck blizard condition, there is such a peace to be found.. I think you've captured that here Long 8-)
