Mike with Banyan Aircraft Sales in Fort Lauderdale had me ferry this brand new 2018 Series 2 Kodiak Quest airplane from Fargo Jet Center to Charlotteville airport in Virginia. Mike and I flew for 5.5 hours non stop and deviated north of Chicago to avoid thunderstorm at 17,000 feet at a groundspeed of 205 knots. This was the fastest speed I have flown in Kodiak airplane. We delivered to the new owner and they loved the airplane. I flew his Cessna 206 from Charlotteville to Fort Lauderdale took almost 8 flying hours.
