In '76 I was stationed at Madigan Army Med Center. We saw an ad in the paper for a Victorian in Seattle and went to take a look for the heck of it. It was a 2 story, 5 bedroom home in the Queen Anne district, not far from the UW. It had been refurbished and had beautiful wood floors, stained glass windows, all sorts of Victorian touches, and was beautiful. All for the price of $50K, which seemed cheap even then. I can't imagine what that same house would sell for now, but I'm guessing that it would be north of $1M. Great area and a great photo.
