The Vela Tower

This is the tower with the biggest dimensions. It is a square shaped tower, measuring 16 meters on each side by 26,80 meters high. It has four floors and an underground floor with a silo and an underground dungeon. The top of the tower originally had merlons, but in 1522 they were destroyed by an earthquake. http://www.alhambra.org/eng/index.asp?secc=/alhambra/alhambras_guide/the_alcazaba/the_vela_tower

The Tribute Tower

The Tower of Homage is one of the highest -26 m - and is also a tower dedicated to housing. It has a total of six plants, and it is believed that it established the founder of the Alhambra, AL-HAMAR, when it decided to build his palace here.

This was the original entrance to the Citadel. It's next to the Tower-Cube to the right.
At its low, there is a dungeon that was also used as a warehouse for grain, salt and spices. http://www.alhambra.org/eng/index.asp?secc=/alhambra/alhambras_guide/the_alcazaba/the_tribute_tower
