Gallatin Airport TN

view map

Took me two days flying the T-34B Mentor to Gallatin Airport for the new owner who bought the airplane. It was sad after flying with my friend Keith for the last 11 years. It's going to new home and Tim is a very proud new owner.

Gears down, full flaps, canopy open, 85 knots on base to final and touchdown at 60 knots. Beautiful airport.

Sad about losing your plane! Will you still be able to fly??
This is a great shot ..... this airport looks as though it is in quite beautiful surrounds. Usually airports are on the wastelands outside of cities, and are the most unbeautiful places in the world!

While I'm happy you found a buyer, I know how much you will miss her.
I think it was good that delivery flight took some time, time spent saying goodbye.
