Wagon Wheel

Death Valley, California

I loved the wheels on this old wagon. It was used to haul borax, which was mined in Death Valley. After mining, it was hauled by 20-mule teams to the railroad for transport. You might recall the brand of cleaner Borax, with it's "20-Mule Team" strength and logo of 20 mules pulling a wagon like the one depicted in some of these photos.

This is a really awesome photo! I love the red paint on the wheel, it really makes the photo pop. The composition of this photo is great as well. Who knew that wagon wheels would be such a great photography subject.http://www.customwagonwheels.com/decorative-wagon-wheels.html
