Chan Chan is located at the ocean front on the Moche Valley, very near Huanchaco Beach and Trujillo City, has 20 square kilometers. The central zone has a complex of 10 citadels, Tsuchudi Palace is the most visited citadel and covers 6 square kilometers. Has nice mud wall architecture, streets, ponds, cemeteries. Is condidered the largest mud city in the world.
