After one hour of navigation the Madre de Dios downriver bank abord our 30 footer motorized native canoe, the entrance to Gamitana Creek was reached. This intinerary takes one full day, includes a 3 hour trekking and a a nice canoe paddle down the river from 3 Marķas, a place where 3 creeks meet to the entrance of the Gamitana Creek. Lacking enough time, made the motorized excursion both ways previous coordination with the tour manager at the lodge, the high temperature and humidity produced nice fog giving the creek path as the boat made it's way, a mysterious adventure feeling to explore the unknown.
