Route 66 runs from Chicago to Los Angeles and became the major east-west route in the western United States from its construction in the 1920s to the 1960s when major portions of the Eisenhower Interstate System were completed. Route 66 was featured in the Disney/Pixar movie "Cars", and while there is no real life Radiator Springs, Seligman is one of the towns that Radiator Springs is believed to have been based on.
