Atlanta experienced tornados on Friday night, 14-March and again on Saturday, 15-March, 2008. The Friday night tornado struck the downtown area, about 10 miles to our south, and the Saturday tornados struck about 10 miles north of us. I took these snapshots during the Saturday storms. Some of the hailstones in our area were as large as golf balls, but mostly they were penny sized or smaller. Fortunately, our cars were parked inside our garage.
