We have a radio fence and Max is trained to stay within its boundaries. We also have a group of deer that frequent the woods behind our house on an almost daily basis. These deer have learned that while Max barks and carries on, he will not leave our yard. There is one little deer that has tried many times ever since it was a fawn to get Max to play with him. And although the fawn is now almost grown, he still hasn't given up on convincing Max to become his playmate.
