Found a small goose (r) that at first thought seemed like a "Lesser" Canada Goose (B. c. parvipes). According to a site I found, "perhaps Lesser and Richardson's Cackling Goose (B. h. hutchinsii) intergrade and if correct, could be the source of occasional "small geese" that do not fit the primary indicator model for this subspecies. More likely are the presence of "runts" of either parvipes or hutchinsii."
