These are amazing images, Lisbeth -- particularly this one. You are able to actually compose an image out of the choas of a million birds in flight, a series of horizontal layers beginning with the soft weeds, then the bushes, then the horizon, and finally, the incredible blend of the horizontal cloud of birds and the horizontal band of clouds. The only thing in the image that does not intensify their flight is the amount of open, almost featureless sky. Try cropping where that single bird is flying, and see how you like it. I tried a similar shot in Peru a few years ago -- different birds, used as an overlay to a harbor scene (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/25457842 )
