We had first visited Bali some forty years ago, and were returning to it with some trepidation as we realised that it would have changed but yet hoped that we would find some memories from before! Of course Denpasar had grown beyond recognition as had Sanur and Kuta as well... regrettably also Ubud and Klungkung...the price of development...but we were happy to find that the people are still as gentle and kind as ever and in the interior, Tegallalang and Jatiluwih still had their rice terraces which remain as green and wondrous as ever!
The sunsets are still gorgeous and the seafood delicious and heavenly...!!
