Oldest Clock in the Western Hemisphere
The oldest clock in the western hemisphere (incredibly anticlimactic. I want to see the interworkings)
Antonio explains in great detail how the clock works...in Spanish
It was originally built by the Moors in the 1100s
They didn't have screws or bolts so they used lynchpins to hold things together.
The oldest functioning clock in the world (at least that's what Antonio told me)
One of the 3 counter weights for the clock
This is the piece that drives it all, the pendulum. It was hammered into this shape
