I found the work technically quite good but found the stark white backgroun very distracting and feel it detracted from the subjects as the eye can't concentrate on the primary suject matter without being constantly drawn away to the background.
I can't imagine this was the intent, but if so, maybe I'm getting too old for new ideas.
