Searching for the meaning of a sandstone fin
Sandstone fins above Negro Bill Canyon (Moab, Utah)

After 7.1 hours in this prone position I finally understood what it
meant to be a fin. Words cannot describe the revelation I experienced.
Joe Tripod, who was with me (as always), didn't give a hoot about the
meaning of a fin; all he cared about was the meaning of standing still.
