This sign tells hikers where the (Delicate Arch) trail goes. The arch is at right, behind and beyond
the shadowy cliff. The sign is posted here to keep the masses from taking a wrong turn here onto an
informal side path. That path---which soon fades away---is the beginning of the cross-country route to
the precipice of Salt Wash Canyon. On the way to the canyon I explored some minor rock humps nearby.
