Falling back to re-group

Southeast Poison Spider Mesa (near Moab, Utah) view map

Having failed to get beyond the "thousand points of discomfort" described in the previous photo, I contemplated my next move. Union with the aforementioned points had the unwanted effect of cleansing my mind of much of what I read in "The Sacred Paths to Oneness." That delayed my realization that not all was lost. A period of rest allowed my Earthly memory to return, at which point I felt better knowing that the abundance of Moabian sandstone here would allow additional chances to seek Enlightenment.

I continued my hike among the fins with a renewed enthusiasm and sense of dedication. Although I did not attempt to achieve The Higher Plane after this event, I took satisfaction in knowing that other opportunities to do so would present themselves. Amen.

Joe Tripod, who held my camera for this photo,
eschews flora as components of stillness.

You're a true genuis, Dave.
Does that makeshift wooden antenna get good reception out on the mesa?
You look very intent.
The t.v. show must be a re-run of Lone Ranger because the way you're sitting looks
like a typical Saturday morning.
Doesn't the glare from the screen bother you? Or is that why you're wearing the shades?

I will attempt to explain that to you someday when you are all grown up.
You just couldn't handle it right now at your delicate age.

Larry, what the heck is "Notner"?

Learn not to give up so easily, Dave. At least you gave it the old Notner try.
