Artistic statement expands my horizons

Renton, Washington

The variety of creative expression in this country continues to expand my horizons. It would never
have occurred to me to use my car as an instrument of graffiti, but that just shows how narrow-minded
I am. That the artist chose a high school's soccer field as his "canvas" demonstrates that art has
no boundaries and that the artist is bold enough to "do it his way," regardless of the prevaling
community standards. It is that type of attitude that advances civilzation. One could say that
the artist scored a goal with this display. This masterwork, freely given to the community
without thought of remuneration, inspires me to higher planes of communication.

The fence damage at upper left---not part of the artistic effort---has been
documented elsewhere: http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/56441592 .

Lee, the Speed Wagon's tires collect only pebbles, sandstone grit, and salt. Besides, this soccer field is not big enough to demonstrate its prowess.

why is there mud and grass in the tire treads of the Speed Wagon?

that turning radius looks very Subaruish to me Dave

Looks like whatever it was tried to jump the fence off to the left, perhaps spooked by an approaching photographer.

John, in my state of ecstacy brought on by the beauty of the artwork, I got confused about the tool used by the artist. Although a car (or pick-up truck) made the lines curving toward the goal, the thing that made the bold circle was probably an all-terrain vehicle.

Dave, do you have cars in America with a track of 12" ?
My guess would be a motor cycle with a large rear wheel gone around twice.
I have the opposite point of view.
That type of attitude destroys civilisation. (please excuse English spelling of civilisation).
