Bare sandstone at bottom end of the depression

Delicate Arch Trail

This bare sandstone terrain is what awaits a person at the bottom of the depression
(previous shot). Cairns mark the way through this featureless landscape. Past the
second cairn the trail angles to the right and begins descending a long, open slab.
