Aiming line for The Invasion

Years of investigating unusual phenomena gives this reporter confidence is describing this seemingly innocent surveying marker as a sinister attempt to support The Invasion. The orange line is a guide for aiming a super-powerful laser-type beam (containing who-knows-what) from high above the Earth. It was applied by a scouting party from another world. Its less-than-perfectly-straight form could be the result of fratostatic inversion of magnetic fields.

Naturally, we have developed a sanitized story for public consumption.

I've seen similar invasion lines in my area and have reported them to HQ (wherever that is) ... its exact location is classified so if captured and tortured horribly, I can only give them 1-More-Mile's address in the unspeakable Michigan hinterland.

I am having a ball going through your pictures and creative moments... Laughing all by myself in front of the computer on a grey Sunday afternoon.

If we are subjugated by The Enemy, the merits of either side of the tracks will not matter. We must put aside petty differences of class and culture to maximize our chances of winning The Battle. Staying focused is important; were I to continue to pontificate I would eventually switch to another train of thought.

These Aliens seem to come from the wrong side of the tracks...

Larry, thank you for your vote of confidence. After a while one develops a sense for seeing these things. Danger is everywhere. Sometimes I wonder if it's true that ignorance is bliss.
