In my short-lived "beard phase" I documented one of the reasons why it was short-lived. Several people mentioned that the facial hair made me appear more manly (thank you, thank you), but I could never get used to the weird feelings on my face. While in the Army many moons ago I grew a mustache, but it was pathetic. A hairy face is not part of my destiny.
