This October 2003 photo shows the patio of a house that I believe was being used as medical offices (this is next to the campus of Valley Medical Center). The pattern in the concrete suggests that at one time a swimming pool was there, with one end where the picnic table is. The filling in of the pool was its first disappearance. It disappeared a second time (see next photo).
When I geo-tagged the photo in 2013 I got confused because the house and patio were not where I thought they were. The puzzle was solved by Google Earth’s historical imagery (next photo).
