The skyline terrain looked familiar and i realized it was a place i had hiked on a previous visit. That was a cross-country hike from the Upheaval Dome parking lot to Steer Mesa, which lies behind the cliff. The shadowy terrain at bottom is the high point of an abandoned mining road mentioned in another photo.
