St. Alban's Street in Windsor

This southeast view along St. Alban's Street in Windsor serves two purposes. First, it is meant to prove to PBaser John Cooper that our agents (from the correct side of the Atlantic) are active in Britain. Second, we hope to satisfy his viewers who want to know where his similar photo was taken.

Our image has a wider view than that of Mr. Cooper. That was not our intent. We strive to duplicate photos in all respects whenever possible, but in this case bugetary constraints prevented our agents from purchasing the same photographic equipment used by Mr. Cooper. Sadly, The Greatest Country in the History of the World must make do with what it has. The result is that our photo was taken with different equipment, causing the wider field of view.

The building on the right is St. John the Baptist Church. The one straight ahead is Burford House. The vantage point for our photo is at the center of this Wikimapia aerial view.

Mr. Cooper will undoubtedly claim that this image was created from Google Earth Street View by someone in the United States and that my statement about agents in Britain is false. Because of the sensitive nature of our operations I can neither confirm nor deny such a claim.

There was a very clear "Google" in the road at the bottom.
I cloned that out. Didn't see the one you mentioned. I must
review "Ten Laws of Covert Image Improvement."

Observation no 1. The elevation of the camera that took this photo is about 8 or 9 feet above the ground. Roughly the same height of the cameras on Google Earth cars as they film the world.
Observation no 2. There is a copyright mark faintly imprinted on the pavement on the left. Looks like the word Google.
The History of the World. reminds me of an old English saying "Get some in".
This would refer to the fact that you have to have some history before you can comment on it.
Of course I would never say anything like that. I leave that stuff to the Trolls.
By their very nature all comments about agents are false, agents are wonderful people as you know, or not,,,, now I am getting a headache.
Anyway, Windsor is an absolutely beautiful place.
I have not managed to visit it yet this summer, must try harder.
