My trike sits on a dirt farming road in eastern Maricopa. From left to right: a tan-colored boundary wall for a housing development that never happened, some vegetation that probably will end up as tumbleweed, a dry irrigation canal, and a cultivated field.
On the horizon is a very tall light-colored wall behind a hedge. The hedge and wall form the western boundary of Volkswagen of America's proving grounds. The hedge appears in an earlier photo.
At one point on this road I had to walk my trike around a large muddy section. Life is tough.
