During a trike ride in southeast Maricopa I encountered this situation in the parking lot of Maricopa City Hall. This was the first time my forward progress on a trike had been hampered by tumbleweed. Fortunately I was able to ride around the offending vegetation.
But that success did little to aleviate the confusion I felt by the concept of "bike lane deliveries." I had no idea that bike lanes could be delivered anywhere. Aren't they "delivered" in place as the markings are applied to asphalt or concrete? Interestingly enough, I saw no corresponding sign at a loading dock or door specifying where to deliver them. Maybe the exact delivery point is kept secret. I'm new to Arizona (just visiting) and don't understand how things are done here.
