Circle of mystery

view map

I first saw this circle in Google Earth. During a trike ride I encountered it by chance and realized it was the one I had seen on my computer. Its meaning is a mystery to me. It appears at the center of this WikiMapia aerial view. Diameter, according to Google Earth, is 65 feet (19.8 m).

In the asphalt area just north of this circle is a similar, fainter circle.

I tried looking at the link to Wikipedia, each time my Broadband stopped working.
I will try again later.

Larry, thank you for reminding me of the need to
be vigilant at all times. I shudder to think of the
repercussions of a lack of co-incidence.
I saw no strange activity. In fact, I saw no activity
other than my own, but that could be explained
by the day of the week: Sunday. The place was
deserted and quiet, which I enjoyed. But I might
have been having fun without realizing that
something bad could occur at any time.

The google map shows the lot as empty, just as it is in your photo.
Coincidence? Did you observe any strange activity?
It looks quiet. That is not a good sign.
