Searching for the elusive white dot

This view looks about southeast at the fins of Behind the Rocks. It is a 200mm shot from the southeast portion of Poison Spider Mesa. Behind the Rocks is an explorer's paradise, though many canyons are accessible only by climbing techniques.

Just above the image's center is a small white dot that marks the high point of a nice hike I made into the fins. If you squint you might be able to see it in the default size of the image. It shows up in the original-size image.

The distance to the white dot is 3.75 miles or 6 km. While at the site of the white dot, at the site of the white dot, I photographed myself .
