The sign said "NOW OPEN," so I pulled in to get gas. But the laid-back gas pump lacked what I would call "user-friendliness." First problem: I couldn't find a slot for using a debit card. Second problem: no matter how hard I squeezed the handle of the nozzle, no gas came out. Third problem: no one was there to hear my complaints. So, in the great American consumer tradition, I went elsewhere to buy fuel. It was their loss.
