This is a view of the Excel spreadsheet photo log that superseded the paper log). It duplicated everything in that paper log, describing every image of every roll of film. That endured until I switched from film to digital in 2003. With digital came the ability to shoot more images in a day than I had time to describe individually.
Managing digial images required two things: a more casual description of images and an orientation around dates rather than roll numbers. (I store all my image files by date---day folders inside month folders inside year folders.) The next photo shows a modified version of this file.
