To the left of the monument is Utah, to the right, Colorado. This is northwest of Grand Junction, Colorado on what used to be US 6. This was the main highway before the completion of Interstate 70. I was driving on this road to examine traces of a long-abandoned railroad grade. I encountered only three vehicles.
