My stevia is growing

Only recently, I came to know this plant.
I bought it in France and hoped to see it grow: it does!
Stevia is also known as "sweetleaf, sweet leaf, sugarleaf, or simply stevia, and is widely grown for its sweet leaves. As a sweetener and sugar substitute, stevia's taste has a slower onset and longer duration than that of sugar, although some of its extracts may have a bitter or licorice-like aftertaste at high concentrations."
I found this information in wikipedia.org.

I have never heard of this or seen this before. How do you use it? Do you chop it up and add it or steep it in liquid?
Cindi Smith03-Sep-2009 01:04
Oh, I'm betting it may taste good but I've never tried it. I'll have to see if it is even available here.
