We drove into Lubango the night before after a long drive from Menongue. We arrived long after sunset and decided to rather stay in a room at Casper Lodge and not put up camp. The boys made a joke and say we got "immunity" because we won this leg of "survivor". Everyone enjoyed the hot shower and in no time it was lights out and we were all in bed.

This morning we put up camp in the camping area of Casper and then went to sat down for a very nice breakfast.

Our first stop for the day was on the top of the mountain at the statue of Christ (ala Rio style but a lot smaller). From here we had a lovely view over the city.
