This detailed capture of an endemic skulker while in a feather-drying wing spread replaces the Grey-backed Tailorbird in my Top endemics list. It's not often that this shy bird is photographed in a clean environment, good light and a pose that I could only dream about prior to getting this...;-)

Great shots of a common bird, which is however hard to see well. How about Rufous Coucal Centropus unirufus, don't you see them at Subic, or you just didn't have that much luck yet to capture that secretive bird?
