This was a weird weekend for roughwheelers !!! Friday morning I started out on a caravan with Snoopy and Jeeper Dave .We were suppose to pick up with Bubblegum at green river and as we were early that but him behind use,he findly got up with use at San Bernardino.Dakota gave me a cell call saying he was behind us also.We stopped for gas at outlet center in Barstow and Dakota pulled in just in time to say hello.As he was on the way to Laughlin to do a Mojave road tour for the weekend.Now the weirdness starts as we leave Barstow .We get almost to ghost town road and Bubblegum radio's Snoopy and said their a lot of smoke coming for you.We pull over and and find a bad hose's on the tran's off his motorhome.Seeing he's going to be towing in for repair, we go on. At Baker we pick up "Baker",Buddha/ Bigtop that is.Now we are off to the dunes!! Wind's were up at dunes so we camped in the wash.Rooster pulled in as sun was going down.Had a wind blowin campfire.Saturday morning now and Hugger & Spuds ,also Bobbo & fidget are with club. 9 AM and the club is off to wheel the dunes.I leave my jeep in camp and jump in with Buddha Bob ,and Rooster in lead with his new paddle's tire's start out on little hill's just off the fat's. Buddha does a couple of loop's in a bowl and we heard over the radio Rooster has rolled.I look up and see his front end noseing into the sand then the rear of jeep coming up and he does two cart wheel rolls coming to a stop on his wheel's.Atv's and cycle's are first at sceen to help and start yelling its a head injury call 911 !!!!. Buddha Bob walk's Rooster down to fats and clean up his head and find its just a scrape thanks God !!! He's sore and think's his shoulder is out of place.Hugger does drive him to Barstow for a check up,and they find a little separation in shoulder.Club gets his now heep back to camp to start picking through thing's then load on Bobbo's trailer.While Hugger and Rooster are in Barstow .Now the group findly gets out on dunes for a little fun wheeling !! Saturday night around camp fire Rooster is bumed talk's about giving up the sport.I think the love that this club has for its member's,he will be back.This is why we are a club to have fun in the fun we love and to help out when help is needed "God Bless" !!!
