Weekend of July 8 & 9 , 2006 was Badlands off-road Adventures Wine Safari !!!!

Saturday morning it was off on a easy trail ride .Saturday night was the wine tasting from Paso Robles area winery's .Sunday was a challening day on John Bull trail.there were 7 rigs and all had winch we sure need them ,as we came to a down hill with of camber hole .The group worked hard as we had to winch each orther down hill.To make it more of a challening day it rained big time as we were winching . I like to say thanks to Tom's wife Mary Pat for her hard work and also to Gary and his wife Dena for being wine master's

Had to winch him down the hill !!!	Here I am winching Gary down the hill in a rain strom !!!	Gary don't pull me down the hill !!	Slowly Slowly Gary !!!

Trying to get winch back on spool !!! in the rain.	Boy we had to work at getting 7 rigs down this off camber spot in the rain !!!

		Had to use the Hi Lift jack to stack more rocks to get me off the big one !!!

Lion: Thanks for letting Barton and I ride shotgun. Your photos capture the true spirit of the trip. I had such a fabulous time and it was nice getting to meet some new people I'd heard so many stories about. I hope everyone is doing well. Looking forward to the next off-road adventure! * * *

Cool trip, Lion. Your one shot winching the TJ down pretty much summed up why that root had to be taken out on John Bull. That's a scary drop on a steep hil. Spud
