This was a photo taken back in the 1970's when I was taking slides with a Minolta camera. To me, it was a memorable view from the top of Cadillac Mountain in the Acadia National Park located in Maine. We got up very early to get to the top as the sun came up over the horizon. It was a perfect morning and a perfect setting as the sun's rays extended out over the cloud (or fog) cover. We were indeed fortunate in that visibility at that time of day is often non-existent.
