I think this is the bird that flew in my room I am take care of it because the bird has lost some feather on its head and has a few scrapes on his head

I think my college campus has these guys. They have the most intersting calling sounds I've ever heard.

They are devouring my suet and come in pairs to the feeder. However, lately there have been at least 6 at a time. Still they are welcomed even if they and the Blue Jays seem to take over (not to mention squirrels). Food for all!

I believe my son and I saw one on the beach in Ocean City, NJ -- is this possible? He took photos of it. This photo shown here looks like it may have green in the colouring too but the one we saw was midnight blue on the head and it's back - too dark to notice if it was also dark blue on the stomach

Just saw two in Frederick poking around for worms in the wet ground. Looks like a crow and seems to have the same attitude.

Do these birds kill sparrows in Dupont Cir. in DC?

Do these appear around Washington, DC? There is a large flock of them now feeding on my cracked corn (Takoma Park).
