14th July 2005 - Bastille Day

It’s Bastille Day today and that means one thing….it’s Shazbop’s birthday.

So……

Happy birthday to you
Squashed tomatoes and stew
Bread and butter
In the gutter
Happy birthday to you

Shaz – here’s a shot of Gary for you to celebrate all things French!!! Get out that beret and stripey top, your public awaits you!

For passers-by, Sharon, Colin, Paul and I used to be garlic animals. We’d go out to restaurants, demanding garlic in every dish (on one occasion, even garlic cloves in the ice cream, which was eaten by Paul and declared 'delicious')then take home ‘doggy bags’ of garlic bread so Colin and Paul could toast it for brekkie. Those were the days……

Last year I was seeing the divine Richard Hawley and the Feral Cats at the 100 Club and two years ago, I posted my most banal picture ever....yet it's had loads of hits!!!

so, when you were in San Francisco did you go to The Stinking Rose (www.thestinkingrose.com). We did - the night before getting on a plane to Australia - I don't think we were popular!
