I rarely talk about our evenings because I usually post my photo when I get home from work, before the ‘evening’ starts. Today I ran out of time so this photo is of what we did this evening……

For the first time in months, we went to the bowling alley and played three games. As is traditional, I won by beating DM twice and he beat me once.

The interesting bit was that although we’d not been for ages, both of us got some really good scores – David got his personal best of 130 and I got a 133, which, although not my best ever, was certainly among the top scores I have got and overall I bowled really consistently, with my lowest score of the night at 117.

It was great fun and we came away giggling like children. We didn’t giggle quite as much when five minutes before our taxi was due to take us home we still hadn’t got our pizza in the caff next door. Ah well, if everything in life went smoothly, where would we be?
