Joe Strummer's death was truly a terrible event in our musical lives. No-one of my age can fail to have seen and heard the messages of the Clash and most, whether they liked him or not, will have recognised the talent of the great man. I know I'll never see a better live band if I keep on going to gigs until I'm ancient. I've just come across a good tribute website with some great stuff on it!
