I have been sent home from work with no voice. In case it’s not completely obvious, no voice is a rather limiting thing when you are a teacher.

The stupid thing is I don’t feel all that ill but communication is key in a job where imparting information and giving children the tools to develop their own learning so I am stuck here at home feeling sorry for myself.
