It’s a vile day here. It’s been tipping down and we’ve got wind gusting at almost 70mph. I’ve been in the field with JD and Lola and, to be frank, have struggled to stay upright. I was on a prop gathering mission for a work photo shoot and when I was done, both dogs seemed really pleased to be coming back inside.

Since then, DM and I have been busy creating a forest scene on our dining table for our forest friends to be photographed within. I am so pleased with the shot but as:
a. It was a joint effort between me and ‘im
b. It’s for a marketing campaign that I’m just about to put into place at work
It was not appropriate to use it for my blog.

Hence here is JD, looking for all the world like all of those poor children, stuck in tents or caravans in Cornwall for their Easter school holidays, while the wind and rain pummel them. He’s thinking “Mum, Mum, I’m bored” and that’s exactly what I’m imagining all of the mothers of the children in this little pen portrait are saying.
