It’s nearly summer so it’s time for slaws. Yes, it's great to grate. In this case, beetroot, red cabbage, fennel, apple and carrot slaw to go with tabbouleh and clafoutis. There is enough of the former two items to make DM a cheese and slaw sandwich and me a pot of tabbouleh with salad and feta for our lunches. I love it when that happens – a little bit of lucky over-production meaning less to do in the morning to ensure that we can eat at lunchtime.
Even closer than summer is the weekend and that’s a great relief this week. It’s been a tough one. I can’t wait for pizzas and wine tomorrow night…
